Hi, my name is Chukundi, and I am from Seattle Washington. I am a current first year student at Howard University studying Computer Engineering. My philosophy is defined by self actualization and being a lifelong learner. I plan to use my time in D.C to simply explore.
To see how big the world can get before I return to Seattle with the resources and connections needed to help my community, and become a hardware engineer tor Microsoft. Please support me on my journey to learn what our world needs and how we can make it better.
Music has always been one of my passions. Since Sophomore year when I saved enough to get my first DJ controller and started performance mixing sets at School events and sports games, I found myself gaining gradual understanding of music theory and breaking down different aspects of songs as I transitioned into producing and audio mixing.

Working for the City of Seattle as a lifeguard and swim instructor has changed my perspective on leadership and collaboration. Entering the workforce from a young age gave me the skills to communicate and listen to my peers as well as how to navigate within diverse spaces such as Community Centers.
Lastly, teaching lessons every week taught me the importance of youth engagement as I found my passion for teaching and listening to the youth.
My time as a Host not only gave me a great source of spending money, but also helped further my communication skills within the service industry.
Learning how to navigate what keeps an establishment functional enticed me. How so many different roles came together to keep a restaurant functional amazed me as well as the leadership required to keep everyone secure in questionable situations.
Bang Bang Kitchen taught me the importance of fostering relationships with customers as well as separating how I act within and outside of work.
